BREAKING NEWS: PM Advises Phnom Penh Governor to Set Up New Covid-19 Treatment Centre

PREY VENG: As Covid-19 cases in the kingdom continues to drop significantly, Prime Minister Hun Sen has revealed that some treatment centres in the capital have been closed. However, there are still patients being housed at the National Olympic Stadium. In this case, he has urged Phnom Penh Governor Khuong Sreng to remove the patients from the stadium to a new centre in preparation for the SEA Games.

The Prime Minister says that the Royal Government may spend money to build a new treatment centre for Covid-19 centre so there will be no more patients in the establishments currently used, especially the stadium. He says he would like to have a talk with the Phnom Penh governor to plan for the country’s new Covid-19 treatment centre in the capital.

Prime Minister Hun Sen was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the National Road No. 11 at Prey Veng province.
